The MA “Luxury and Haute Couture” is aimed at students or young professionals who wish to set up as a freelance couturier/pattern maker/stylist.
It also concerns anyone who wishes to specialize in evening wear, ceremony or bridal fashion.
It has a duration of one year.
The curriculum revolves around bridal fashion and high endevening wear;

It represents the 3rd year of the DS.
It is not open to beginners.
CREATION

In CREATION class, the teacher uses several tools to help the student find his inspiration: define a moodboard, search for subjects, search for silhouettes according to the lines of inspiration selected,
He also support the student for presentation of the creative dimension of the student proposals (physical and digital book) as well as the technical one (preparation of the technical specialisation ).
COUTURE: Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The COUTURE course accompanies students in the assembly of their models.

Thus, the student experiences tailor-made work (taking measurements, making a pattern according to specific measurements, fitting canvases and rectifications and learning own to conduct a fittings in real fabric.
PATRONAGE AND DRAPING
In the patronage and draping class, the student deepens its theoretical knowledge of jacket tailoring but also wedding/bridal and evening dress: bustier, sheath skirt, XXL skirt etc
The rest of the year, the student realizes the pattern and fitting canvases of his projects
He also carries out other model studies (exercise which consists in developing a pattern on the basis of an image given by the teacher).
The objective of the course is to allow the student to be autonomous in the development of his patterns.
For each model part of his annual project, the student makes a technical or flat drawing, a complete technical sheet, a fitting canvas and a fabric prototype.
